Welcome to the New Year! I am looking forward to serving you this year as the OAUG president and having the opportunity to talk with you each month through this forum. Please feel free to reach out and let me know what topics you would like to see discussed.

Throughout much of last year, we were hearing that customers remaining with their on-premises applications (while establishing or implementing their cloud strategies) were not sure where to turn for sales and licensing assistance.

We shared that feedback with Oracle and were able to identify the proper channels of communication for customers who may wish to add modules to their on-premises product footprint. We then communicated that important information back to OAUG members. The OAUG has always acted on behalf of OAUG members to express wishes and concerns to Oracle and provide updates and responses in return. Today, the OAUG plays a crucial role in helping members stay informed across the entire Oracle Applications lifecycle – providing resources to help you evaluate and implement options for cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments. The 2017 OAUG Board of Directors and I are committed to sustaining the OAUG’s strong and influential voice to Oracle.
